Opened in Fall 2013, the Kauai Beer Company has become a destination for residents and guests. Our neighborhood microbrewery produces artisan batches of high-quality craft beer, served in a relaxed atmosphere, making all our friends feel completely at home. The creative food menu rivals the brew and stands on its own as a reason to visit. We are proud of our Kauai Beer Company and look forward to meeting you.

Farm To Barn Cafe started as a sister business of Jar’d Hawaii (a cold pressed juice company). When I started Jar’d in 2016 it was in my 5 year plan to expand into a health food cafe where I’d be able to offer my juices and an array of healthy food options. 3 years after starting Jar’d I had an opportunity to open a location in Haleiwa and it was the perfect opportunity to start the second phase of my vision! What most people don’t know is that this little red barn was one of my first retail locations for Jar’d, so juice was apart of the barn before it became a cafe! Supporting local agriculture and farmers is something I’ve centered my businesses around for years and now to own a cafe where everyone can enjoy and see that vision play out is truly a dream come true. Mahalo for all of your support in making this a special place in Haleiwa!
Moku Roots opened in May 2018 by two friends, Alexa Caskey and Erica Gale.
As a vegetarian for over 15 years, Alexa always struggled to find interesting vegetarian options in Maui. After starting her gourmet popsicle company, Maui Tropsicles, she knew she wanted to create a restaurant that offered vegetarians and vegans a creative, constantly changing menu to keep things exciting for locals and tourists. Her farm, Mala ‘Akala, located only 6 miles away in beautiful Launiupoko, serves Moku Roots with a bounty of fresh, organically managed vegetables!
After years of living in Maui and working in the hospitality industry, Erica was seeking to create a fun, creative gathering space for people interested in locally grown, organic, healthy food. After meeting Alexa on a sailing trip in 2016, they started working together to realize their dream of offering healthy vegan and vegetarian food to the community of Lahaina and Maui.
Kona Brewing Company was founded by father and son team Cameron Healy and Spoon Khalsa. The pair had a vision to reflect the spirit, culture, and beauty of Hawaii in a collection of local island craft beers, so in 1994 they set out for the Big Island to bring their dream to life.
Flash forward to today, and Kona Brewing has become one of the best-selling craft beer brands in the world. But despite our global success, we’ve managed to stay true to our Hawaiian roots through innovation, sustainability and community outreach.
